Dejeuné !

Le dejeuné... mon premier petit choc culturel. 

Les hollandais ne déjeunent pas de plats chauds. Jamais. En fait, le dejeuné consiste grosso modo a un 2eme petit dej mais ils remplacent le muesli par un petit bol de soupe.

Les portions sont très petites. 

Par exemple ce sandwich, acheté à lexterieur, qui fait literalement la taille de ma main !!! (on voit mon pouce au milieu à gauche!!)

The lunch... my first cultural little chock...

Dutch don't have hot meal for lunch. Never. Actually, lunch is more or less like an other breakfast without muesli but with a little bowl of soup... Portions are quite small... For instance, this sandwich bought outside. You can see that it has the size of my hand (there is my thumb on the left side of the picture)

 Le vrai déjeuné du bureau ressemblera a ca : (avaler en 15 min maximum...)

The "real" office lunch looks like this (swallowed in 15min max...)

Aussi, très important, il y aura TOUJOURS un verre de lait avec leur repas... (remplace l'eau...)

En fait les petits dej sont copieux, le repas du midi pas trop et le soir... ils se ratrappent en dinant à 18h. 

Also, very important, there will ALWAYS be a glass of milk drinken at lunch. It comes in replacement of water... To conclude, I would say that breakfast are generous, lunch small, diner (at 6pm) heavy...
